Bleeder and a Buddy
Bleeder and a Buddy Weekend Retreat is a time for teens with bleeding disorders and one of their non-affected friends to get together and learn potentially life saving information about bleeding disorders, as well as develop important leadership and team-building skills.
The 2015 Bleeder and a Buddy will take place at Camp Copneconic:
With this retreat being over Halloween, the theme will be "Face Your Fears!" Teens will be encouraged (never forced) to confront some things that might make them uneasy in a safe environment. We will be facing fears like heights (high ropes), the dark (haunted maze), and other bleeding disorder related fears.
