Walkin’ on the Wild Side is a fun, family-friendly event that takes place on the last Sunday in August at the Detroit Zoo. Over 1,000 walkers and volunteers who are motivated to improve the lives of Michigan’s bleeding disorders community will gather together to show their support.

Your $20 registration fee* includes a walk t-shirt, light breakfast, lunch, parking, and a full day at the Detroit Zoo! The walk is followed by great music, activities and prizes, and fun for all ages. *Children under 2 are free

T-SHIRTS ARE GUARANTEED TO WALKERS WHO REGISTER BEFORE AUGUST 1st!

Fundraising:

We suggest that participants raise a minimum of $200 to help us reach our collective goal of $80,000.  Your efforts will support HFM programs such as: Camp Bold Eagle, community retreats, free or low cost dental coverage, medical tags, financial aid, and teen programming.

We are here to help you every step of the way. Registered participants will receive fundraising tips, tools, and advice.
