The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan encourages volunteer involvement and participation in events to help support the bleeding disorders community. If you are interested in volunteering for events or special activities, see the list of volunteer opportunities below for a detailed description of volunteer opportunities. Your involvement and support will be greatly appreciated. Office Volunteers HFM office appreciates clerical assistance, including organizing packets, preparing mailings, and data entry. Your skills can be a tremendous help to the work we do. Student Interns Several exciting opportunities are available for students who want college credit or work experience. Camp Counselors and Staff HFM operates one camp for children and one camp for teenagers with bleeding disorders. Our camps are always interested in staff with previous camp experience and a desire to work with kids. Please see our HFM Camp Programs section of the website for more information. Fundraising and Events HFM conducts and participates in many fund-raisers, which require the assistance of volunteer committees to plan and execute. The following are examples of HFM events that utilize volunteer time and support: Spring Gallup, MYLIFE, SpringFest, HFM Golf Outings, HFM Teen Retreat, HFM Women's Retreat, and HFM Holiday Party.
