The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan has been providing summer camping for children and teens with bleeding disorders since 1969. The mission of HFM’s camping programs is to educate children about their bleeding disorder and its management and to safely challenge them to explore and master new skills in a supportive camp environment. HFM’s philosophy is that by fulfilling this mission, our camp programs empower and motivate children with bleeding disorders to seek a life of freedom and independence that is not limited by their chronic illness.
