Michigan Unite Walk

Welcome and thank you for joining us for the 2021 virtual Unite for Bleeding Disorders walk. Fundraising for the walk is a way for you, your family, friends, and colleagues to actively contribute to the effort to improve the lives of people living with bleeding disorders in Michigan. Thank you for being a champion for this community!

The walk will kick-off on Saturday, September 18th at 10 am with a virtual program. When we get closer to the walk, you will receive all of the information to log on and participate. From there, you customize your walk route. You can walk where and however long you would like, knowing that the rest of our Michigan walkers are doing the same. Here are some other things that you can anticipate:

GooseChase

The joy of having a walk together is that we get to have FUN together! The GooseChase scavenger hunt is a virtual way for walkers to interact, display their creativity (or their silly side) and maybe even learn a bit about the very programs that they are helping to fund. Look for an email about 2 weeks out from the walk that will tell you how you can get started. A week and a half before the walk, the challenges will begin and the competition will be on for a grand prize that is sure to bring smiles to your entire family!

GooseChase starts September 7th, so get ready!!!

Prizes

Let us reward you for your efforts! Fundraise $25 and receive a walk t-shirt. Fundraise $250 and you will get a totally awesome camp mug! $500 will place you in the coveted Factor Club and you will be awarded a medal for your efforts. $1,000 fundraised is our chance to present you with a Unite tech kit. We want to give you prizes, so share your story in an email, post your fundraising request on social media, and watch what happens!

Walk Pack

Just because we aren’t in person, it doesn’t mean that we don’t want you to have what you need to create a festive walk experience! Look for your walk pack arriving at your door the week of the walk. (Keep in mind: you do need to register in time for us to ship it to you!) It will include items such as pinwheels and balloons as well as your t-shirts and any prizes that you may have earned by fundraising.

Your Efforts in Action
