Advocacy Updates: Patient Advocate Spotlight

Michigan Advocacy Update

Patient Advocate Spotlight

Throughout the year, HFM and the Michigan All Copays Count Coalition have been working to raise awareness of the issue of copay accumulators and increase public pressure for legislative action. We are proud to share that one of HFM’s advocates, Ken Martin published a piece at the beginning of May in Bridge Michigan. Ken’s piece is a strong reminder of why this change needs to happen, and HFM stands committed to leading this effort and passing House Bill 4719. Ken’s article can be found here, and if you’re interested in sharing your story, please contact Zach Ryan at zryan@hfmich.org.
