Action Alert on Copay Accumulator

Request for Update and Support on SB 914

The Copay Accumulator Bill has not been voted on in the Senate Insurance Committee.

Use the email template below to message your State Senator to ask for an update on SB 914 and urge their support for this important legislation.

Dear [your Senator],

I am writing as a constituent and volunteer advocate to ask for an update on SB 914 and to urge your support for this important legislation.

Many patients have been waiting far too long for relief from harmful prescription drug copay accumulator policies. Every day this bill is delayed is another day that people facing serious illnesses, including bleeding disorders, are forced to navigate unnecessary financial barriers to the treatments they need.

SB 914 is a common-sense solution that ensures the assistance patients receive actually counts toward their deductibles and out-of-pocket costs. Patients and families are already dealing with enough; they should not be punished for accepting help that makes their medications affordable.
