Upper Peninsula Retreat

Friday, August 4-Saturday, August 5, 2023

Lodging: Best Western, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 
Meeting Space: Lake Superior State University, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 

This event is for adults and families residing in the Upper Peninsula or those within an hour of the Mackinac Bridge.

Attendees will receive and experience:  

  • Lodging – Hotel room for patient(s) and immediate family members Friday night and Saturday night if needed. NOTE: There must be a parent/guardian in each room with children under 18.
  • Meals – Join us Friday evening as we kick-off the retreat with dinner together! On Saturday, enjoy breakfast at the hotel, a catered lunch, and to-go boxes for dinner.
  • Bowling and game night Friday evening & educational sessions and youth programming on Saturday!
  • Community and Connection – Opportunities for discussions with other patients.
  • Information from pharmaceutical companies and specialty pharmacies.

There is no charge for this event!

NOTE: Childcare is not provided Friday night; children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at dinner and bowling/game night. 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5

9:30a-4:00p Educational Sessions & Youth Programming (ages 6-17)

NOTE: Childcare will not be available for children 0-5 years of age. Limited financial assistance is available upon request to offset childcare costs for children not in attendance. If your children under the age of 5 join you, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the entire event. There will be space in the youth programming room for children 5 and under along with their parent/guardian. Please bring any necessities (i.e. formula, diapers, toys/activities etc.) along with napping accommodations.
