Aging Together Series: Connection and Self-Expression Don’t Have Expiration Dates

Please note the event was originally scheduled for February 23 and rescheduled to March 2 due to widespread power outages across Michigan.

We’re glad you’re investing your time to discuss what it means to age with a bleeding disorder! In HFM’s four-week Aging Together virtual series, we’ll discuss the joys and challenges of aging. Learn from experts in the field and explore a variety of art mediums as we creatively express our life’s journey and experiences! No artistic skills necessary, just an open mind and desire to build community and connection with others.

TOPIC: Connection and Self-Expression Don’t Have Expiration Dates

Sometimes as people age, they find themselves feeling more isolated and doing less of the things they enjoy. Fortunately, that lack of spark is less of an expiration date and more of an opportunity! In this session, our speakers will discuss aspects of feeling isolated and ways we can build connection with others through shared passions and experiences.

Please register by February 6th to receive a box containing creative expression activity supplies for the series. You may still register for events in this series after the deadline has passed and are encouraged to join us for the learning opportunity and discussion.

Michigan families are eligible to receive a meal reimbursement and/or shipped supplies for virtual activities! While we are only able to offer this particular perk to Michigan residents, we do hope that EVERYONE feels welcome to join our virtual programs to receive education and connection. Please join us!
