The Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment period is open from November 1, 2020 to December 15, 2020.Ā Plans sold during Open Enrollment start January 1, 2021.

If you do not have health insurance through your employer, Medicare, Medicaid, or the Childrenā€™s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the marketplace can help get you covered.

Premium Tax Credits

What you pay for insurance depends on your income. You may qualify for a premium tax credit that lowers your monthly insurance bill.

CSHCS Premium Assistance

Michiganā€™s Childrenā€™s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) offers Insurance Premium Payment Benefit Assistance to help families maintain comprehensive health care coverage for their CSHCS-enrolled family member, which includes marketplace policies. Ā To be eligible for the Insurance Premium Payment Benefit Assistance (IPPBA), families need to submit an IPPBA application, along with requested documentation and meet eligibility and cost effectiveness criteria.Ā
