HFM Ruby Connection: Bee Encounter with Bill and Kathy Darbison

Join HFM’s NEW women’s group, the Ruby Connection. Alternating between noon-1pm and 7-8pm the fourth Tuesday of the month, adult women in the bleeding disorders community will come together for an online social experience that will include an educational speaker or activity and connection with other women in the community. The group is open to women affected with a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community. There is no obligation to attend every month, come when you can.

Speaker: Kathy Gerus-Darbison

Kathy Gerus-Darbison, a life-long member of the bleeding disorders family, lost her husband to AIDS-related complications in 1992; her daughter an obligate carrier endures inherited bleeding symptoms. Kathy has remained active in the community, serving on the board of NHF for many years. She and her husband, Bill, volunteer their time and talents at Eagle Journeys camp programs and other events. Together they enjoy caring for their bees and sharing their knowledge and the sweet rewards.Ā Ā
