This presentation will help ensure attendees, caregivers, and patients have all of the tools necessary to navigate an Emergency Room visit. They will leave feeling empowered and well equipped to handle a variety of Emergency Room scenarios, from communicating effectively with Emergency staff to determining what they need to bring with them to the hospital.

Speaker: Amber Federizo, DNP 

In addition to a doctorate, Amber holds a master’s degree in nursing education. She has a passion for women’s health and patients in rural and vulnerable populations, with a specific focus on women living with bleeding disorders. In 2018 Amber was selected by the National Hemophilia Foundation as Humanitarian of the Year, and currently works as a Factor My Way Clinical Nurse Educator at Octapharma USA.
