HFM Ruby Connection: Tai Chi: Spring into Spring

Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, at 7-8pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Adult women in the bleeding disorders community come together for online social experiences that include an educational speaker or activity and connection with other women in the community. The group is open to women affected with a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community.Ā

TOPIC: Tai Chi: Spring into Spring

Spring is the time of increased flexibility and renewal. During our time together we will focus on gentle stretches, opening up, and refreshing your physical and mental connections. Master Wasentha Young will also share self-care techniques for neck and shoulder release, as well as tai chi movements that promote balance.Ā

Speaker: Wasentha Young

A practitioner in integrative and complementary health practices since 1968, Wasentha is the founder, owner, and director of the Peaceful Dragon School in Ann Arbor, MI. She has also received formal instructions in multiple styles of meditation and self-care practices including Tai Chi, energy work, acupressure, and art.

Michigan families are eligible to receive a meal reimbursement and/or shipped supplies for virtual activities! While we are only able to offer this particular perk to Michigan residents, we do hope that EVERYONE feels welcome to join our virtual programs to receive education and connection. Please join us!
