Advocacy Webinar: Get to Know Your Insurance (So That it Works the Best for You!)

Join HFM and Cascade on Thursday, October 23, at 6:00 pm, for Get to Know Your Insurance (So That it Works the Best for You!)

Individuals with bleeding disorders need health insurance to afford the treatment they need to live healthy lives. Unfortunately, insurance is also complex and can frustrate and overwhelm us at times. This session is intended to give members of the bleeding disorders community an opportunity to hear some of the most common insurance questions and to feel more comfortable engaging with your insurance plan.

If you have specific questions you would like asked during the webinar, please submit them by Monday, October 20, to Zach Ryan at zryan@hfmich.org. Due to time constraints, we may not be able to answer all questions.

Speakers:

Colleen Joiner, LMSW, Cascade Hemophilia Consortium; and

Debbie Whelan, LMSW, Cascade Hemophilia Consortium

HFM will treat attendees to dinner during this educational program.
Order carryout or delivery and send a photo of your itemized receipt to Dana at dbrendeckecarrier@hfmich.org. You will be reimbursed for your meal (up to $30 per family). Please note that we are unable to reimburse alcohol purchases.

HFM does not endorse any specific product or company.
