SPRINGFEST

Each year, HFM celebrates the arrival of spring with our largest annual consumer education conference, SpringFest! Parents, children, and individuals come together for an engaging weekend filled with both fun and educational activities. SpringFest provides an opportunity for our community members to acquire fresh knowledge, participate in special activities, and connect with our bleeding disorders family. Plus, there will be exciting opportunities to win fabulous prizes!

For more information, please call HFM at 734-544-0015.

BLEEDER AND A BUDDY

Invite a friend in your life to learn about your bleeding disorder journey! The retreat is open to teens ages 13-17, and their unaffected “buddies.” It is a weekend of games, activities, and bonding! This retreat is a great opportunity for teens to learn about advocacy for their medical needs. They learn to exercise independence and are able to share experiences with their peers about their bleeding disorder. Join in on the fun!

Ruby Connection

Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, from 7-8pm on the fourth Tuesday for six months of the year. Adult women in the bleeding disorders community unite for enriching online gatherings featuring educational speakers or activities, fostering connections with fellow community members. The group warmly welcomes women impacted by a bleeding disorder or engaged with the Michigan bleeding disorders community.

For more information about the program, please contact Shari Luckey at sluckey@hfmich.org.

Days for Girls

Days for Girls (DfG) advances menstrual equity, health, dignity, and opportunity for all. DfG achieves this by providing menstrual products and education through teams, enterprises, and volunteers. When menstruators have health, education, and opportunity, communities and the world are stronger.

HFM’s Ypsilanti MI (non-sewing) Team supports this mission in coordination with the Farmington/Livonia MI Chapter, who supplies items for kits and Save One Life, who assists with distributions to women in developing bleeding disorders communities.
