HFM Ruby Connection: Tax Workshop

Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, at 7-8pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Adult women in the bleeding disorders community come together for online social experiences that include an educational speaker or activity and connection with other women in the community. The group is open to women affected with a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community.

TOPIC: Tax Workshop

Connect with fellow women in the Michigan bleeding disorders community to explore tax categories, tax brackets, strategies for reducing your tax burden, and other pertinent tax-related subjects.

Speaker: Debra Jacobs, EdM

Founder of Money Smart for Life, Debra is a financial coach who helps people overcome shame, fear, and overwhelm around money and take action to master their personal finances. She has developed financial literacy curricula, taught classes to teens and adults, presented financial wellness workshops around the country, and worked with many clients to achieve positive, measurable results. Debra is a published author, holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and is mom to two young-adult daughters.

Michigan families are eligible to receive a meal reimbursement and/or shipped supplies for virtual activities! While we are only able to offer this particular perk to Michigan residents, we do hope that EVERYONE feels welcome to join our virtual programs to receive education and connection. Please join us!
