Men’s Support Group

Join HFM’s virtual Men’s Support Group on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 6:00pm-7:30pm.

During this men’s group discussion you are welcome to share your thoughts and ideas on your daily lives with other men who have a bleeding disorder. This group will be facilitated by two experienced hemophilia treatment center (HTC) social workers, David Rushlow, LMSW, and Karen Boyd, LMSW. Social Worker Ellen Kachalsky will be joining to answer questions about insurance!

  • All men 18+ with a bleeding disorder are welcome to join us. This month, spouses are also welcome to join!
  • This group is open to Michigan residents only.
  • The group will be limited to 20 individuals to allow for greater conversation and connection between participants

After registering, you will be sent the link for the group and sign on instructions. Please do not share this link as it is unique to you.

Registered participants that attend the program are eligible to receive a meal reimbursement up to $30. Please note that alcohol purchases cannot be reimbursed.  After the program, email a copy of your itemized receipt to Laura Olson at lolson@hfmich.org. Be sure to include your name, address to receive a check reimbursement, and your phone number.
