Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, from 7-8 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during January to March and September to November. The group is open to women affected by a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community.

TOPIC: Being the Family Cheerleader

What comes to mind when you think of being the cheerleader of your family? In this session, we’ll explore the vital role that women play in uplifting, motivating, and supporting their loved ones. As the heart and soul of the family, women often wear many hats—encourager, organizer, mediator, and guide—ensuring everyone stays on track, feels seen, and can achieve their personal goals.

We’ll dive into what it really means to be the cheerleader of your family, focusing on how to nurture the strengths and potential of each family member while balancing your own needs. We’ll discuss practical strategies for:

  • Providing emotional support while also maintaining your own well-being.
  • Helping family members stay motivated, even during tough times.
  • Fostering open communication and connection within the family.
  • Leading by example, especially in moments of change or challenge.

This session will offer inspiration and tools to continue playing that invaluable role in your family while ensuring that you are also supported in the process. We can’t wait to cheer you on as you cheer your family on!!
