Detroit's Outdoor Adventure Center

Join HFM for a day of education, connection, and fun at Detroit’s Outdoor Adventure Center! Arrive as early as 10am to explore the OAC’s exciting hands-on exhibits on your own, including walking behind a waterfall, climbing through tree canopies, and reeling in a big fish from a fishing boat.
At 2pm join HFM staff, Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) staff, and other community members for an engaging educational session about transitioning from pediatric to adult HTC care, led by Detroit HTC staff.
- Pizza, salad, and dessert will be provided.
- There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
- Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- The event will conclude at 4:00pm.
- Industry representatives will be present.

*Local community events are designed to bring together families from specific areas across Michigan. If registration exceeds capacity, priority will be given to local Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) patients and others who live within one hour of the event location. Please note no travel or lodging is provided for this event.
