Get to Know Your Insurance (So That it Works the Best for You!)

Individuals with bleeding disorders need health insurance to afford the treatment they need to live healthy lives. Unfortunately, insurance is also complex and can frustrate and overwhelm us at times. This session is intended to give members of the bleeding disorders community an opportunity to hear some of the most common insurance questions and to feel more comfortable engaging with your insurance plan. Join HFM and Cascade on December 14 to learn how to make using your insurance a smoother process.

Speakers: Stephanie Sibrel, BSN, RN; Colleen Joiner, LMSW, Cascade Hemophilia Consortium; and Ellen Kachalsky, LMSW, Henry Ford Hospital

HFM is happy to treat attendees to dinner during this educational program. Order carryout or delivery and send a photo of your itemized receipt to Laura at lolson@hfmich.org. You will be reimbursed for your meal (up to $30 per family). Please note that we are unable to reimburse alcohol purchases.
