HFM Ruby Connection: Getting Ready for Retirement – No Matter What Age You Are

Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, from 7-8 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during January to March and September to November. Adult women in the bleeding disorders community come together for online social experiences that include an educational speaker or activity and opportunities to connect with other women in the community. The group is open to women affected by a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community.

TOPIC: Getting Ready for Retirement

Join us for this month’s Ruby Connection on Tuesday, January 28 from 7 – 8 pm. What comes to mind when you think of retirement? In this session, we’ll examine common ideas about retirement and explore new ways of thinking about (and planning for) this stage of life. We’ll review the three phases of retirement (the “go-go” years, the “slow-go” years, and the “no-go” years) through the lens of both finances and your values and goals. We will discuss documents you should have in place and conversations to have with loved ones well in advance, and we’ll review ideas for living well on less, through each stage of retirement. Ruby Connection on Tuesday, January 28 from 7 -8 pm.

SPEAKER: Debra Jacobs, Ed.M., AFC
