HFM Ruby Connection: Foundational Strength: Resistance Band Basics for Injury Prevention & Vitality

Join HFM’s women’s group, the Ruby Connection, at 7-8pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Adult women in the bleeding disorders community come together for online social experiences that include an educational speaker or activity and connection with other women in the community. The group is open to women affected with a bleeding disorder or involved in the bleeding disorder community.

TOPIC: Foundational Strength: Resistance Band Basics for Injury Prevention & Vitality

Join our virtual session focused on foundational strength through resistance band workouts, tailored for beginners interested in strength training and injury prevention. Discover how fortifying joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can elevate daily activities and act as a shield against serious injuries. Guided by seasoned instructor, Bria Massaway from the Massaway Method, this session emphasizes a workout routine while offering invaluable tips for at-home workouts.

Please register by March 15 to receive the resistance bands required for the session.

Michigan families are eligible to receive a meal reimbursement and/or shipped supplies for virtual activities! While we are only able to offer this particular perk to Michigan residents, we do hope that EVERYONE feels welcome to join our virtual programs to receive education and connection. Please join us!
