MAY 19-20, 2020

Lansing Days

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

4/6/20 UPDATE – With the current restrictions on travel and gatherings in Michigan, we do not anticipate the ability to gather in a large group by May. We are discussing the possibility of a virtual advocacy day and will share more details as we move forward. Just because we cannot visit Lansing does not mean the advocacy needs to stop!

Join HFM for our annual legislative advocacy day, Lansing Days! Every year, HFM and a group of community advocates travel to the capital to educate state legislators about issues important to the bleeding disorders community. As members of this community, it is OUR responsibility to voice our specific needs to decision-makers. The future depends on what we do today.

No advocacy experience is necessary. HFM staff will provide an evening of dinner and training on Tuesday, May 19 to prepare participants for their meetings. On Wednesday, May 20, advocates will meet with their local state representatives and senators.

Lansing Days is a FREE event for all individuals affected by bleeding disorders.

Register by April 17, 2020.

The future depends on what we do today.
