Grand Rapids Lighting

Join your fellow community members for HFM’s Grand Rapids Lighting

Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Join us at the Bamboo event center on Thursday, May 7th. We will be celebrating all things light: the light within, the light that propels us, and even the light of a movie projector!

We will have a private movie theater all to ourselves, and you are invited to bring friends and family for a private screening of “Redefining Impossible.” This is an inspirational film about athletes with bleeding disorders. If you have an athlete in your family, young or old, this is a film that they should see!!!

As you leave Bamboo, you may see the Fulton and Division intersection start to glow red in honor of those living with bleeding disorders. The entire Bamboo building will be lit red, and some surrounding businesses, including the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, have agreed to light their windows red in honor of our community!

Concession stand dinner is included, and there will be plenty of snacks too.

  • This event is free of cost.
  • All members of the Michigan bleeding disorders community, including family members and community advocates, are invited to register to attend.

Special thanks to our sponsors for helping to make this event possible!
